Hey Guys, I am new to these bikes and I have a 2002 BD Pro Sport 107 and I need to know a part number for the Oil Filter. I read on here that Harley carries a chrome one so I went there and bought a filter. They did not seem to know for sure if it would fit. The guy ask me if it was EVO or V-twin but being new to these bikes I really did not know.

He said the one he gave me is standard for V-twin. Does anyone know the part number?

Thanks for any help.

Here is a pic.

Thanks for the link I will probably get that. But for the time being I still need to know what regular oil filter I can get. Thanks

BTW, as he mentions in the video, the throw away filters for Evo engines filter down to 30 microns. The washable ones filter down to 2.6 microns and yet flow better.

The Harley part # should be 89-3535

Do not use the one for the TwinCams. Use the EVO. KN and HighFlo the number is 170. The C at end means Chrome, B or nothing is black.

Thanks very much everyone. I was told by someone at BD to use Bel Ray fluids and here is a pic of what they use. Will it be ok to use this in this 02 bike, here is a pic.

I guess I am a little confused because it says formulated for V-twin 20-50 but I do not know if that matters. I just want to put in what is best for this 02 bike

Use full synthetic 20/50 unless it gets really hot where you live and only then switch to straight 50 wt full synthetic for the summer.

I use to use amsoil vtwin switched to Mobil 1 and noticed it keeps the motor quieter but both are great oils
