Has anyone heard from Wire-Plus? I've been calling for two weeks. Calls go straight to voice mail and the mailbox is full and won't accept new messages. I've emailed them with no response and left a message on their web page with no response. Have they gone under? Does anyone live nearby who can check on them? Let me know if you've heard anything. I have a customer waiting for parts but can't reach anyone.

Be that as it may, my customer already has a Wire-Plus system and I'd like to contact them.
I have found that it is easier to email them and provide your phone number leave a request to have them call you back. I have a wp and may be able to help.

No offense to Wires Plus...but talk about letting them get the rug pulled out from under them.

I think the original person who started the company left and they haven't been producing anything new for some time. Same system ...

Only reason I see to call them is you already have a WP and need a new brain unit. No reason to buy new WP as a replacement. That is the worst option of the 4 available ones.

I own Millar Machine in Orchard, just northwest of Rosenberg. My customer's switch control module from Wire Plus is fried. The kit was installed about three years ago. Since the original connections are now gone, I'm trying to get a new component. I've called, e-mailed, messaged on their site, everything I know to do for over a month now. Fixing a short and replacing that one controller would be easy enough. Now that the original ECH connectors are gone, I'd hate to tell the guy he needs a whole new harness plus another EHC retrofit kit.

That is the situation I faced few years ago. Faulty VR pushed 19 volts and burned WP. Fuse between VR and battery does nothing to prevent that.
Should I buy new WP brain for ~250 and around fix the whole thing for about 1000 later or invest 1000 right away... I ended getting new brain for WP and now I think about replacing it all the time knowing that it is not the most reliable system...

This popped up on eBay today guess someone had it on the shelf...

I'd pay $200 tops and only if I absolutely had to, that power unit is prone to failure. 10 year old technology. The switching unit seems to hold up just fine, I have a spare one of those on my shelf

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/112563025281

Offered $275.00 for it but offer was declined. Let me know if anyone out there has any of these components for sale.
