The road to Laughlin

Energy One
just arrived in Laughlin. Great ride in.
A lot of headwind once we hit the El Cajon pass.
Stopped at great little diner in San Bernadino for some tri tip. Can't remember the name but good lunch and back on the road. Continued on interstate 15 to the 40. Stopped off for gas in Essex and traveled down historic Route 66 for a beautiful ride into Laughlin.
Pics coming soon !

Great I'm sure the place is hopping. Looking forward to the pics!!

Unfortunately we just didn't make it to Laughlin, we were going to stop in just to say we have been but that was the day were we had 40-50mph crosswinds.

Route 66 is a little less historic than I imagined! Some of it you kinda gotta get on 40 over there around Needles.

We went down 66 to a Walgreen's down the street from our hotel, that ride was anything but "scenic"

I said headwinds in my post but they were all over. Never experienced anything like it. The wife on the p pad was a warrior. Our backpack shoulder strap broke as soon as we pulled into the hotel parking .

Checked out oatman in az today cool little mining town. Will post pics soon
Yea that was the first run I ever went on in 2011, shortly after that I bought my 05 Bulldog, Oatman had that long ass strait road to get to it if I recall correctly, I got pulled over on the way back going over 90 mph on my buddies Independent Chopper, the cop was cool and let me go, but it could'a ruined the trip.
