If your going that route your probably going to have to ditch the DSSC starter for a standard Harley. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Yea I think you might have to...again not a bad thing. Ill probabaly ditch this transmission for a standard trans if I ever have the issue again. Part of me wishes I did it this spring. I doubt I will get it on the bike before Daytona..Lucky for you we will have a spare baker rsd 6spd in daytona so bring your oem primary parts just in case it's a fail!

RSD Ultima's are always available on CL, cheap too. I picked up brand new for $300. Ya should look around, quick check in TX and I found http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/mpo/5936882263.html know many guys using them with no issues.
