Karata is still selling their BDM open primaries they have 2.5" 3" 4" 5" they range from $3030 to $4200 and you can add $925 if you want the outer bearing support. I would still use the Baker open primary it uses stainless steel pulleys and a 14mm tooth belt instead of aluminum pulleys and a 8mm tooth belt. With the aluminum pulleys you will get a lot more clutch rattle after a while.

Karata does not have any BD open primaries ready to go. I spoke with Jimmy about six months ago, he said he will make me one when he gets to it. Emailed him a few months back, he responded..keep waiting. He does have everything but the motor plate which needs to be fabricated, when he gets around to it. I doubt he works very much, he is over 80..
