How do you store your bike for winter?

Not sure what to do with the K9 this winter. My garage sweats so bad I have to put my corvette in a Car Capsule. Water will run off the bubble at times in the winter.



They do sell one for a Chopper.

Only other option is putting it in the living room for the winter. Have to build a ramp to get it on the front porch and drain all the gas out of the tank and carb but it's cheaper then $300 for the bubble.

Bring it on I can take it! I take a lot of criticism from friends for the Corvette bubble. But no one else sees what a winter here does to aluminium.

if you lay felt down before putting metal roofing on ,should stop the sweating from the roof, also on your walls. I think that would help

Winter storage, what is that? Put a ski on the front end and chains on the rear wheel and ride. If the roads are clear, I ride year round in Northern Virginia.

There is a layer of insulation under the metal roof. Going to try to find the time to insulate the walls and put a ceilimg in next spring, it might help a lot.
There are times in the summer when humid the cars and bike will be nice and dry and when I open the garage doors everything is intantly wet, I mean water running off of any metal surface.

Keep a fan running in the garage, it'll help with the moisture.

Tried that, fans in the windows, fans blowing on cars and bike does nothing. That little fan in the bubble does the trick.

Have you tried a dehumidifier? Or even keep heat in garage at a low temp?

how about building a small PVC frame with tarp roof? I did this for my Jaguar convertible and my Bulldog, (both inside) so I can pull them out and run them on those very very few nice days in winter here in Western PA.

For different reasons I have a humidity problem in my garage also. I know exactly what you mean about the humidity and aluminum. I used to keep a convertible in my garage and my leather would get mold on it. I wound up buying an enclosed trailer to keep my Mastiff in most of the time. I quit keeping the car in the garage too.
