I use the Bike Bright stuff available at my local Harley store. $15 for a gallon and it lasts all season. However, I did waterproof the connectors after I brought the dog home. I've done this on any motorcycle I've ever owned. (Old man is has a masters in electricity, this has been pounded in my head all of my life). Also for those who have electrical woes after H20 drenching, before hitting the connectors with dielectric grease, get some CRC contact cleaner and spray. This will clean any corrosion that has formed and dry out the embedded H20. This stuff is available at Radio shack and any electrical supply.

WATER?????????

I have a Mastiff not a Lab. I never use water on my dog. I use the duster and Honda spray polish cleaner w/ the microfiber cloth. Follow up with wax every couple of cleanings. We got caught one time in the rain and we happen to be a couple hundred miles away from home, what a f---ed up ride home. Never again if I can help it.

2 best tools...........women! :2thumbs: .
They are great to watch cleaning someone else's bike... :zdrool:
I let the hottest bikini car wash girl I have ever seen, wash mine (O'Toole's Bike Night).
I did make her help, but... she got to watch me re-wash it after I gave her the tip

if it has tits or wheels, it is gonna give you problems..., why anyone would think 2 negatives would equal a positive is beyond me...

I thought It was going to be two prospects with Sponges and Towels.
Definately the way to go with your bike :2thumbs:, but not as much fun...:nonod:

I got to pipe in, Gas is right about if ya have to be careful. I have no choice; I live 6 miles inland and ride along the coast. My east facing windows on the house still get salt residue all year long so you know the bike gets covered. Also get caught in the rain all the time. I don’t wash the controls or the headlight. I wipe her down and let her sun dry with a compressor blowjob. No problems yet. I have over 9K almost 6K are mine in 14 months. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Hey guys i use S100 on the harley and on the bigdog.it does an awesome job on the motor, wheels, paint it takes off anything and has'nt fucked anything.i usually buy it 1.5 gallon or(5 liters)at a time.
This stuff is costly and a friend told me to cut it twice or even three times. I tried it and it still works the same so you get more out of it.
Give it a try.

OK finally found it. S100 and Motul Wash & Wax.

Motul wash & wax 90% of time. ( I quick clean after every ride with this )

I've only used S100 once, and I liked it. I'll still use S100 when I use water.

Clean up

Hello all,
My Dog has done real well in the rain. I had to drive threw 12 river crossings in the Texas hill country. One of which was about 2 1/2 foot deep and 25 feet across. I have had to clean with water on those occations.
I mostly use Ice detailer with micro fib to wipe down. If it needs polishing I use Wizards cloth first and then come back with Wickeds to get the scratches that Wizards leaves. It turns out great.
