Any difference between 07 & 08 K9's.

Nobody answered your question, the big difference between the '07 and '08 is the clutch.
The '08 has the EZ Pull clutch and the '07 does not. And as you know the wheel changed for the '08 &'09.
Like Zach said, deal directly with the bank on the payoff and title release.
I drove from Oak Ridge, TN, AFTER WORK and drove 12 1/2 hours to Tulsa, OK to buy my bike. Slept in the truck for about 2 hours. Then drove all the way home as soon as I picked it up for another 12 1/2 hours.
Look at it as a fun road trip with a happy ending and go get the bike!

After I bought my bike, Postman and I ran to Florida to buy his bike the following week. Drove 10 1/2 hours AFTER WORK to Florida(Crystal Beach). Slept in the truck for about 3 hours in a church parking lot, went and picked up his bike, and drove 10 1/2 hours back to the house.
Running on Adrenalin!

That's pretty much what I did too. Got off work at midnight on a friday, and drove about 14 hours from Fenton,MO to Cottonton,AL. Picked up the bike, and headed back. Had a buddy ride with me,so we took turns driving. He was nervous as hell. His first time ever pulling a trailer was with my brand new bike on it.

Like others have said, man. Find one that's close enough to what you want at a good price then tweak it to make it yours.

Well about 7 years ago I used to live right next to Wayland. Now im in Texas so not much help

Ask him what bank has the title, call them and ask what the best approach would be. Are you planning on viewing it before you buy it? If so just pay the bank directly when you get there aftery you see and hear the bike run. If it's a local bank they might have the title on hand. Just bring a check from your bank in PA, they should be able to clear it.

Regarding the miles, I would double check however the riding out there fucking sucks as Wayland is basically in the city not really any place to ride. I didn't ride nearly as much as I do now in Texas  And I live in Dallas. I think our Massachusetts members are out in the Western part of the state which does have some nice riding.

I'm with Zachusmc and Bowhunter. Go for the adventure. Wife and I both played hooky AND took two of our kids out of school on a Friday. Drove Dallas to Wichita with a cashiers check in hand. Rode the bike in the rain at 40 degrees for a test ride. Loaded it in the trailer and followed him to his bank. Was also ready to walk if there was a problem. Handed them the check and they handed me the title. BTW - Couldn't stand seeing it on the trailer anymore so I rode it in from just North of the Texas border. Stopped at a Walmart to buy long johns and heavy gloves and froze my azz off, but didn't care. Like Bowhunter said, adrenaline was enough. :D

The big difference between '07's and '08's is the date they were made.
Not being a smart ass, just stating a fact.
