Bought a couple of things from them on ebay. No problems and very fast shipping. I bought something this Monday and got it Thursday

I wonder why Blacktopper got his starter warranteed ?
I must have SUCKER tatood on my far head.All because I didn't install / get bike
running within a months time. Who new ? ? ?
Hmmm maybe I really did send this guy a bum starter and he didn't get a chance to find out it was bad untill he installed it , I know he was building a bike and bought quite a few parts from me . And I have had bad starters returned to me in the past . Maybe I should just send him out another one like I did for BlackTopper. Maybe I'll PM him and ask him for his address , Make this right .
After all my reputation means everything to me . Just maybe .

i bought a set of grips and pegs from them and did not install for 8 months, when i went to install I found out they had sent me two left grips by accident. I emailed them and they sent me the right grip within a couple days of me returning the left grip. Good people i will continue to buy from them.

Mine was returned within 30 days and I needed the starter to go to Sturgis last year!
They are great people and good for all Big Dog Owners.

Hi Tim,
I presented both of your posts to Derek about your starter. His comment was, "tell that whiney bitch to return it & I'll give him a full refund including shipping both ways". " he can buy his parts elsewhere".
We try very hard to please all customers & always give the benefit of the doubt on proper installation & warranty time with our reman starters. Derek would never deny a warranty claim on a starter if he thought there was any question on our part. I've seen him hand them out when he knew the customer burned one up. I really think you let it go way too long for requesting a return.
I'm going to steal a starter from inventory & send it to you at no charge as soon as I receive your return. He's too busy to read this thread & does'nt know how many starters we have. Sorry your still upset about a 100.00 part after all this time, but we will work with you until you're happy.

Now for the kicker... they are the wrong ones for my K-9.

IT WAS COMPLETELY MY FAULT BECAUSE I DIDN'T LOOK AT THE DESCRIPTION OF WHAT YEAR MODELS THEY WOULD FIT, I ONLY LOOKED AT THE PICTURE


THEY WILL BE FOR SALE IN THE SWAP MEET SOON

for another starter last September. . . .
It was only 3 months since I bought it when I found out it was defective - 2 months
over warrantee. But thats water under the bridge.
I bought several parts from you when building my bike with no issues and fast shipping .
I will send you a PM to see what we can do to solve this problem . I do apperciate
your help , I really don't appreciate the "whinning bitch " comment ,that was uncalled for.
I will keep fellow BDB members informed on the progress.

First - Thank you for supporting the Big Dog Biker forum and providing us with much needed and difficult to find parts.

What you have proposed to Tim is outstanding and commendable. As a business you didn’t “have to” extend the courtesy but you choose to do so – Excellent and a ton of good will to follow. You would think……

In my opinion, your message is truly unprofessional and unwarranted. I usually avoid conflict and controversy in an open forum but I found this offensive and way off the mark. If there was any good that was to come as a result of this, you just lost it. There are quite a few business men on this forum, including myself - I for one don’t agree with your post – sorry. Highlights all the reasons you shouldn’t be posting, business basics….

• Every customer is IMPORTANT
• Every dollar is IMPORTANT
• You don’t have to go beyond, if you choose to do so – do it with a smile. If swapping out the starter is the end result, why the pain?

:2thumbs: Happy Ending, I get a lot parts (spares) from these folks and todate we have never had a problem. I will certainly continue to do business with them.

I recently purchased a starter that didn't work out and Donna was returning my phone calls during her vacation! I will call them first for any future parts, great service and nice people to deal with.
