Besides pisssed, you should know that I wouldn't dog anybody for that. Not too mention 2 of the 3 (AL & Cav) are fellow michiganders, and Al being my most common BD riding buddy.

And having a negative attitude isn't my style, in real life and online. I wonder about people that have to seek out confrontation especially online... life goes by so much better when everybody just has a better attitude. Anyway... to this stab at the BDM propietary crap!!!

Cav that is a great price for the product, for that amount of machining you will not get a better deal. I hope that you didn't cut yourself short. Once again great service your doing for your fellow dog members.

just so everyone whos....these adaptors will only work on the rider pegs (forward controls).
What's different about the passenger pegs that these won't work?

The (male) end of the standard peg is thinner/smaller than the BDM proprietary peg.
You can use any mount for the passenger pegs though and kuryakyn has lots of them.
The big problem is matching all the pegs and shifter/brake pegs. We need someone to make matching sets to go all around.

Later,
Ray

I don't see how you're going to get a set of grips to match due to the BD bar sizes and low voltage controls...

the adaptors wont work for pass. pegs because the part is a complete replacment for the forward clevis and as far as i know you cant use the for pass. pegs. i will be making a pass. peg bracket that will fit the k-9 eventually since i myself will need one.

i understand where your coming from gas on the grips, however i think our stock grips will match alot of standard pegs close enough that no one would notice them being different.

for the shifter/brake pegs im goin to get a set and see what needs to be done to adapt them.

Did you use the pins inside? I can't seem to tell if they are needed although the last time I took apart my controls that I now have the pegs mis-aligned.
The manual also talks about using a 3/8" dowl to aid in alignment. Guess I had to much to drink on that day cause I couldn't figure out what they were talking about.

Look great and can't wait to get my set,
Ray

i have the 1/8" dowel hole in the inside for alignment and the 3/8" dowel they are talkin about is for a shoulder bolt thru the peg itself with 5/16"-18 threads. i made this so i will use a 3/8"-16 threaded bolt instead of the shoulder bolt. should be stronger. i still have to put the radius on the end so the peg can twist outta the way. but other then that they seem to fit just like stock.
