I hear ya!!! Hey, has anyone seen the grip & peg sets on DLXProdox.com? They make some for BD bikes. Pretty cool...sorry, didn't mean to hijack my own thread.

I believe their parts venture will be on a whole different site...I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I know that certain employees have been busting butt entering parts info into a website for over a week now so that they can launch it...

And you're welcome, Brew!:D

Read what she said and give it a few days Miami, it doesn't happen overnight. Lots of work has to be done for somthin like this. Can and will typically take a bit longer than expected by the vendor (our new parts source) and they will be working out the bugs in the busiest time of the year. I wish them the best for us all! Has Big Dog formally communicated anything on their future plans or when Performance Parts will be open for business? If they have then I missed it and take back what I am about to say. WTF nothing posted on their website, no letter to current owners stating what is going on? If I were them I would have sent a note to every customer thanking them for spending over 30k on a bike and telling them what the future looks like. Besides common courtesy it is good business, after all who are the prime customers for parts? We are. Fuck them! I love my bike and will buy parts from them when needed but believe they missed an opportunity to keep customer loyalty. In the grand scheme of life this whole thing is not a big deal. But I question the common sense of the execs running the company.

so let me get this straight.

guys who bought 09's and newer, who lost their warranty and i would guess their recalls with BD's bankruptcy, are now going to be able to purchase those warrant and recall parts from a shell company owned by Coleman?

and it seems they are going to bypass the dealers, again (ebay), and sell direct to consumers?

if it looks, feels and smells like shit then one would be pretty damn ignorant to call it something else.

i would go aftermarket as much as possible, then go to the couple of sellers who did dealer buyouts, for parts needed.

S&S and Baker claim they will warranty their motors and transmissions as long as the bike is within the two year original factory warranty period.
