Just wondering if anyone has a Big Dog K9 with ape hangers and what it looks like? Do they look good, can you even put them on, or does it ruin the looks of the bike? Thanks!

Moespeeds did it on a Chopper (custom apes)! Course he also raked it out and put on a cool springer front end. I really thought it looked good. Here's a pic he posted:



I have mini-apes on my custom red chopper and I love em!

I am finishing a project K-9 and I also wonder what apes will look like (I want to put them on it if they look OK). I like the riding position with the mini apes I have.

just remember all,the bars will have to be custom made or you can do what i did,i made a sleeve to go over the ends of the bars as we all know the bd bars are different size at the grip,just sayn

Crazy as it sounds, I am wanting to build a bobber just b/c of how much I love the Carlini Gangster apes. Wish I could find an older vintage big dog, but it'll prolly end up being something vintage.

Wow - Id like to see some more pics of Moespeeds bike - maybe some side views - those bars really look trick...and the springer too - where can I see more?

I think it would look great, but be very difficult to reach.
I've seen pics and it really is a good look.

I just called Paul at House of Trikes and am awaiting a quote. Can't wait!

I went with the Carlini Flyn' Apes, they have more pull back at 11" and I like the thicker 1.50".

Those apes are sick! Springer's the same as I'm thinkin bout putting on mine. Sabertooth, or something like that I think they're called. My dealer put one on a floor model last year, and loved it the minute I saw it!

I wish I had more money.
Not on the bike yet. I am one broke ass dide right now. I don't want the down time to install them either so I will wait untill winter comes back around.
