How to make my dog look dirty and cheap!

Yes you heard that right. Someday I am planning to take my dog to europe and will have to go thru customs. They will evaluate the price of my dog based on what THEY THINK it is worth. SO if I can make it look less shiny
and look a bit used up, it will hopefully convince them that it is.
My first thing that I will be doing is find a worn out/torn mastiff seat that will fit an 09. I would also like to have all the chrome dulled out somehow with
anything, as long as no harm is done to the chrome. SO if anyone has any good ideas or suggestions, I would be appreciative. Thanks

Spray it down with light oil mist and ride it down a dusty road. Make sure you get the cylinders real good !

There was a product years ago(for cars) that you brushed on your chrome before winter to protect the chrome from salt and crap. Left a brown shitty looking film that I believe you removed in the spring with kerosene. Looked like shit.:2thumbs::lol:
Might still be available. Google it.

keep the DOG looking great. buy a vesba and take it to europe. not worth all the headache to mess up your beautiful bike for some stupid rules.

get some el chepo grips and pegs from a yard.
If you are really brave you could sand some spots on the paint with some 2000 grit and polish it out later.
One lever higher on one side than the other always looks ghetto...

Just throw a coat of wax on everything and it will look like shit. Then buff it off when you get there.

One of the old ones.
A friend of mine has a body shop. Sometimes when they paint, they spray the areas they want to protect with a clear stuff to keep overspray from sticking. It washes off with soap and water, but it sure makes a paint job look bad!!--Check with any commercial grade body repair shop--

Krogoth, I was looking into taking a bike back to England. I was told if you have owned the bike for more than six months you don't have to pay the taxes.:2thumbs:

I know some guys that would send new racecar parts out of the country, before they would cover the parts with dirt an grease,so the taxes were for used parts:flag:

Thanks for the info...you have to pay VAT in england on price of what they determine the bike to be worth. So if I can at least dull the dog a bit, it might work in my favor. I want to buy a beat up seat all torn up..that will help
