Well guys I had the worst day ever...I buy this damn bike and ride it around town and people pointed at me, girls waived and smiled at me like I was a piece of meat!! It was darn right horrible!

Hahahaha

Man yesterday was GREAT! I can't lie it's going to take some getting used to. Ive ridden sport bikes but this is a whole new animal. Thanks to a buddy of mine "Crusty" for helping me out. He took me to a parking lot and I did a couple
miles just turning and learning the bike. Then we hit the streets of Phoenix. There was a beerfest going on so we made a pass by that, went down Scottsdale, then over to Mill Ave, and stopped at his favorite places to relax and and let people checkout our bikes. If y'all are ever in Scottsdale you gotta stop in the Billet Bar. Good crowd and some nice bikes out front. Saw a couple fellow K9 riders out there...

So the days coming to a end and I take my bike to a shipper I found on this website! Tank from Cycle Express. He's out of Goodyear (25 miles out of Phx). Super cool guy. I call him about 5 minutes from his place and as I pull in he's standing by his trailer. He's got the trailer all opened up and ready. I pull straight in, he straps it down and bam were done. He charged me $550 and it'll be sitting in my buddies garage on Monday afternoon just waiting for me to get back after my training. I'm hopeing not to jinx myself but so far I'd recommend him to everyone. He's a bike rider versus who the f knows you talk to when you call those 1-800-shipper#s, so that made me feel alot better.

So anyways...I'd like to thank everyone that chimed in to my stupid questions..."RSD vs LSD" "Rookie wants to buy BD, see any problems with this" and I don't remember the other one, but it was I got a BIG ASS head and can't find a helmet that doesn't make me look like a freaking moron! Haha

Speaking of....I found a Vega half helmet...actually looks ok!

So back to my thanks...I truly appreciate everyone that chimed in. I can't wait to get home to ride my new GF!

I'll be up in the Sacramento area April-July till I PCS down to Biloxi, Ms so if y'all are riding shoot me a messagge and maybe we can hook up.

Thanks again guys!

Oh yeah I had so much fun riding yesterday I forgot to have my buddy take a picture of me on the bike...dammit...I've got the pictures the guy sent me online so I'll have to figure out how to load them now

(I typed this out on my phone, so if the spelling is all jacked up..it's Apples fault, damn IPHONE needs to learn English if it's going to autocorrect my spelling/grammar) haha

You know it kind of sucks but this money was for a wedding ring...we broke the relationship off so I had to spend the cash on someone!

I think I'll be able to find a new one ...haha

As for my service, y'all are very welcome! I've (all service members) sacrificed alot in life (relationships/family) but I've only got 3.5 years left. I've done and seen so much, sometimes I think I'm the one that should be thanking you for paying my check! Around the world 3x...I've drank beer in more countries than I can remember! It's been an AWESOME career.....

Congrats!

And I feel your pain. I bought my bike and had to go back to work the very next day. I work off shore and that was a 4 week hitch, totally sucked!
