Braille has a 2 year warranty, for that money I'd have it replaced.

After reading so many positive posts about Braille batteries, I just have to ask, do you always keep in on a tender when not riding? Shouldn't you be able to get a new battery replacement due to that one being purchased in February? I would think it would be pro rated for some discount if not a full replacement.

i ride 30 miles a day, shouldn't need a tender.as far as warranty ,i'd rather put in a different battery in than one that lasted less than a year.it's got to be reliable.i bought it from jegs and dont have the receipt. what's funny is the battery i put in it last night is an o'reillys battery i bought in a pinch back in 06,and has been sitting on the shelf since february.

I just bought the HD battery last month. Part #65989-97B "battery sealed 19AH dual term". $99.99

Fit my 05 Chopper so would think its the same in your Ridgeback. I took my dead battery there and they match it for size.

I would check with Braille to see if they will warranty yours.

Sooner, don't you read the posts about batteries? :job: Regardless of how much or how little you ride, every single post starts and ends with, "keep your bike on a tender". :spank: Were you riding every day back in February when you bought it? I go up and hunt in the panhandle of OK and it's way to damn cold for me to ride, but I'm from the tropics of Louisiana and not use to that kind of weather. If you got your battery from Jegs, shouldn't they have a record of it? I would think so. I saw how much those batteries cost and have only heard good about them. Still, it's your money, but I would consider buying a tender with your next purchase.

Hey SoonerTodd,
Here is the Link to Braille Battery Warranty Info. I just bought a Braille Battery and with it came a Warranty Card that you have to fill out and fax it to them to ensure warranty on the battery.

Braille Battery USA - B2015

Hope this helps!

Ugh, wrong. Ain't gonna stayed stable at repeated 30 mile rides. Go with the HD AGM -- had same one in mine for three years and only now is getting to the point that I need to replace it. And yes, it's ridden daily and both it and the Nightrain are on tenders

ANYBODY running a EHC in their bike NEEDS to run a Battery Tender all the time. The EHC for some reason has a draw on the battery and will suck it dry in a couple days.

Since I pulled my EHC out and did the Wire-Plus module, I can let my bike sit without touching it for 3 weeks and it turns over like it was started an hour before. I have even stuck a multimeter on it and the voltage drop over that time is almost nothing at all.

I love not having that EHC!!!

Sorry... Continue !!!!

i just bought a braille with 425 C.C.A. love it...came with the manufacturer 2 year warranty and it's a beast...if mine goes out within the 2 year period it's on them to replace it... the cranking power is awesome, for a big bore with no compression releases.

Buy a Big Boar 350cca!! Mine kicks ass!!! Best battery I have owned and I have had the dealers put, BDM battery in, Interstate battery in, HD battery in and Deka batteries all over the last 5 years.

The Big Boar being the best one that cranks it over the fastest.
