on the 05 chopper, where you bolt down the battery box or those plastic side covers that hide the battery and all electronics I'm looking for those rubber pieces that push into place then when you bolt it down they hold it in place. I don't know the name but the nuts that are inside keep falling out and the rubber pieces are shot. Anyone have these, or know where I can get them?

Those grommets and bolts have been replaced with better grommets and push pins now that work a lot better. See your dealer for them.

If they are the same thing that is on the 06 Mastiff, I have three. The part number on the bag is BDM240-00629 and they are called well nuts. PM a shipping address and they are yours.

They are called well nuts or extension bolts and can be found at any hardware store that is good. Not home depot maybe lowes but I found them at a local hardware store known for a good selection of hardware

Try these people they have it in stock and will ship same day. Depending on size they are $8.00-$10.00 per 10 pack.

Keep this company in mind for all your fasteners, especially stainless steel

they are like $3 at the dealer and yellow over time. I change mine about every 2-3 years. I might have a few slightly yellowed ones. PM me if you want them.

For all youz info the bolts and grommets have been changed to prevent breakage of the battery covers.

BDM now uses different gromments and push pins. I (guess) this allows them to float rather than being bolted down. See your dealer for them.

Here is a pic of what they look like:

I got a set of them and took them off and went back to well nuts. They sucked for the rear set holes and worked ok for the front set holes.
