BD VALVE STEM

of course our valve stems arent a standard size! :bang:

need to replace one that broke in half at an inopportune time.

its basically a 13/32" stem (.404) and noooooobody around here has one. and cant find on line :down:

any insight?

Just checking around but it looks like .305 and .453 are the common sizes.

29/64 drill bit and your golden for a .453 stem.

I called HD-Baton Rouge, LA (also the BD dealer) and they can order you one for $4, then ship it to you. The part number is 140-000040-00.

The number there is 225-292-9632.

its the standard .453 hole valve. purchased at pepboys.

my valve was broke before the taper so i thought it was wide to the end. after checking the front i found its tapered.

its basically this.

Dill Eaton Valve Stem Clamp-In Steel 1 1/4" Long VS-902-CR-50

it comes with an extra grommet if you have a .625 hole
