RIMS on bigdogs

OK here is the new post.
Do all big dogs have the same rims form the same years?
here is a pic of my front rim.
this is an 04 chopper.

not a great picture but you get the idea.

The wheels on Mudslinger's bike is what I remember being on the 04 choppers when I saw them at the dealership.

03 as well. Normally each bike had its own wheel design for that given model year. The new ones may be different.

Hard to keep up with the company. My 03 had RC component 5 spoke wheels, my 05 has the "Sythe" that were also used on the 06's.
They always had the stock wheels with the option to upgrade to the PM wheels but this all gone now. My dealer told me recently that you now get what you get and they are all made in house now. BDM probably trying to keep costs down.

Yep Rays right, my 04 chopper has the pm hooligan wheel option,

Mine have BD and a serial number stamped on them.
Wondering if they are contracting them out. Seems odd when they were using RC Components before and PM's are so plentiful!

Here's mine on my 06 K9. For some reason, I have different 06 wheels.

Those are the original wheels that came on the first K-9's. Apparently most people didn't like them, so they switched mid-year in 2006.

By the time I ordered mine in November, they had switched to the other wheels. I asked our regional BDM rep if he could find a set of the original spiked wheels, and he came through for me. I thought the spikes matched better with my flag theme and the stars.

They are hearts! I used to get razzed by the guys because my bike had hearts machined in them!!! That is why I don't own it anymore! :argue:

Dingo's are ducks, the 2004's had hearts... They are different, look close.
