Well.... Gas isn't the only one with change... :hi: I have been thinking about "change up" for a bit... And While Gas's thread did not begin my thought process it did help by also pointing a few things out... Now i have been an auto tech for 30 + years so i know all things mechanical wear out and break, and i expect some quirks at times, That's why i love warranties... But when the warranty is gone and you need to put out the $$$ for the repair... WELL ... So as Chris said " with the pending doom always in the back of your head" I knew i needed to make a change.. Started working the numbers in the middle of Feb and finally got a deal i couldn't pass up...:whoop: Made the switch last night..:2thumbs: I won't prolong the agony for all of you like Gas.. :D and it is an 09 So i will post some pic's today after i take them....

I have 2 bikes my bigdog and my proper chopper if i ever get a Harley again it will be for the wife. She likes the Big Bear Merc soft tail and so do i, but i will keep my cool ass bikes...And i don't know if the word " change-up" is appriopriate  I love all bikes just some more than others, so good luck on the new bikes. 2 WHEELS ARE BETTER THAN FOUR... :2thumbs: ALL bikes have a pending doom. I can warrant my bike for as many years as i want through someone other than bigdog...

I was thinking the same thing. I don't think that there is any vehicle on the market today bike, car or truck that is as reliable as wants it to be.

Shit! My bike has been down for a year and I still love the thing. The weather just plain old sucked with Hurricanes and storms of that nature. I guess to each his own. Good luck to you all on your new purchases.

You are right and some us older riders know ..what it was like 20/30years ago ...but it was a bit dif then you could fix on the side of the road ..today you need electronics to fix anything ...I say fuck it if it breaks I'll fix it or someone else will ...if i worried about it i would never have any fun ...got a cell phone ..I take one of my life lines and call a friend..

Hell my brand new 1981 Harley/AMF broke down in the first 50 miles (electronic). In the 12,000 miles I owned it all kinds of shit left me stranded. But no problems with an 04 FI Deuce:hi:

nicely put and i agree. Here is a shot of my brothers 63 Panhead with a pair of Bigdog vice grips to hold the clutch cable.. 1/2 way around the lake last year at Laconia.. Just fix it and get back to riding..

So i knew i was going to make a change by -APRIL 1st-.... Decided that a warranty would be nice to have " i wish i knew how to answer more than 1 quote at a time".... i guess i will just answer them as i can... as i said things wear out and break... OK. But it is nice knowing you won't be shoveling out a ton of $$$ to fix it.. So the new purchase .... Add to that a Lifetime Unlimited mile warranty .. how could i go wrong.... I look at like this.. I'm doing my part and helping to stimulate the economy..:D :D :D

Killing you isn't it..........:whoop:

OK here they come..... :D :D :D :D
