I just got mine today. It is kick ass but be warned the guys, Chriis and Arron are great over there but it takes at least 2 months so order in the winter. They are always waiting on Orange County Chrome where Arlin Ness has all his stuff done. That's why the turn times are so long.

I will let them know. I have to remove my primary tomorrow to move the transmission arm forward one spline so my new linkage doesnt hit the primary. I don't have enough rome to hit any upward grears. Custom made so no hime joints for adjustment. Anyone know how to get the tranny arm off without removing the primary??

Chopper Dave, get a tape measure!

I would send that shit back to WIcked Image and have them make it right......you paid good money for it.....call Arin.....
when I got mine...I thought I had a blemish in mine......I was going to send it back to them....but come to find out it was in the plastic wrapping....not on the chrome...and Arin told me if mine didn't fit to call him......mine fits great....just had to get that chrome spacer as shown in my pic....my nice chrome bolt will be here tomorrow
I got mine thorough Nelson, so it may go back to him, but it is going back.
I sent Nelson pics depicting the clearance issues per his request.
Dave, can you measure the height of your linkage at its tallest point? Your pics look like it clears the primary pretty well, but your linkage looks about the same height as the style I ordered. Your linkage style is similar to the WI mirrors on my bike, so if I knew yours would fit with the relatively minor modifications, I would order that style. Thanks!

SIICK!!!
here's my Wicked Image shifter linkage...on the bike....

Skid...I can measure it...but you shoudn't have any height issues......the only thing I did was get a 1/2 chrome spacer so the back of the linkage woudn't hit the jugs.....actually the linkage is more level now with the spacer...

mine is 1 5/8 tallest point and the height at the back of the linkage were it goes to the tranny is 7/8 tall.....

Linkage

I see yours, sweet. I didn't use hime joints and that is why mine is sticking out a little. I used built in custom ball joints that just looked a little cleaner than the hime joint, but now look what it's got me. Remove the primary DAM!!

I have the same issue with the ball joints insead of hime joints and i dont want to remove the primary to move the shift arm forward one spline. Did you find a longer shift arm? if so where. The other fix is getting a ball stud that threads all the way into the ball without a hex head and threading it into the tranny shift arm and then sliding on the linkage side cup of the ball joint and threading it onto the linkage. What did you do after waiting 4 months like me????

the hex head bolt is just temporary, I used that to get the linkage on.......my chrome button head bolt is on its way to me.....then I will swap out the bolts!:whoop:

cone spacer

NO. But my issue is at the transmission end of the linkage. I have a spacer at the front that is not a cone but a spacer that threads onto the ball joint end and is threaded aqll the way through and then I just screw into it through the forward controls like the stock one.

SIICK!!!
yeah...send that shit back!
here is a shot of just my linkage with one of my stainless heim's.......they made you the wrong one!
