Solo Bags

Just wondering and I'm not endorsing these guys but I'm sure seatmaker and beeza could make these easily. I think they look good on on bobbers and such but not sure about our style bikes. And if someone thinks there gay go ahead and say so. I pretty sure they would come in handy though. Solo Bags

Look nice. As far as I can tell, the solos all mount on the left. Not sure if the tag will interfere.

I've seen a little shorter version that clears the tag with no problems. I think there are way to many exhaust issues to do one on the right side

I think your right. After looking at my mastiff it doesn't look like the solo will work on either side. The smaller bags might work on either side but they don't appear to be as large as a tool roll.

This is a great idea and I'd like to have an easy access bag but the tag is in the way...has anyone seen this work on a K-9?

If you are referring to the solo bag, I think your tag is going to be in the way (at least it is on my Mastiff). The exhaust is a problem on the right side unless you have short pipes.

I saw one of these on a local bobber. It looked pretty good. I was actually thinking of getting one for my Redneck.

i already make a similar bag. i can make it any way you need it.
right or left along with different buckel configurations.
my concern with the single buckel bag shown is the flap would tend to peal up from wind

mine are made also to be stiffer. i don't like a droopy bag.

I just use a backpack and strap it to the sissy bar.

This is an awesome bag...unfortunately I can't find a good place for it  The right side of the K-9 has the belt and the left side has the license place. Has anyone successfully installed a solo bag on their K-9?

Or you can put a stash bag on each side -- though I think I have the only technical BDM "Bagger" in the country because of this -- I must have anticipated the 2009 Bulldog Bagger design

I've made a sizable left-side sac that clears the frame and tag. It uses original mounting holes (kickstand & fender strut bracket). Quality leather work that has become very usefull and looks decent. Be sending pics soon. FergDog (2005 Ridgeback)
