Interesting. Post a pic of that. That might be a first.
I’ve answered my own question after I was sent the schematic. Someone has jacklegged this wiring. They installed two push buttons as stated then cut the harness blue-black-green-red and had them spliced into only one side (ech side) the other side leading to front they just left the wires cut. I’m looking at the Pinouts now to determine which ones they cut and trying to determine why.

To add, it appears the engine off/run switch quit working and they cut the harness to wire push buttons in. Digging into it now lol

Bingo, that’s what has happened. They had electrical tape under the button so it wouldn’t make contact and using the push buttons to bypass, not sure why but they did. Maybe switch pad went out. Going to splice all back together as original and go from there

Looks like a complete re-wire is necessary unfortunately. But hey you bought it cheap. Would make it reliable.

If you have a good print and a good ohm meter. Yes each bottom should read to ground. So fine the wire at the EHC plug then hook one lead to it and the other lead to ground. Then press the button you meter should read continuity. Sometimes it is easier with two people.

Take a few pictures under the seat with the battery removed. Get a picture of the EHC and the ignition module. When you turn the key on what happens on the ignition module and the EHC? What happens when you hit the run button? Cranks but no spark? Bigdogpartskingpin.com & Wildsteedworx.com are two companies you can count on for quality parts for your Pitbull. Also Curtis @ Wildsteedworx can test your EHC for you if you find that is not working correctly. Also he has plug & play EHC replacements for the’04.
The EHC has 2 rows of leds which going by the book would be an 05 and up but only has one port. The 05 and up that has two rows of leds has two ports in the service documents.

I’ve soldered back all the wires that were cut on the harness and repaired. I’ve tested the right pcb board and it is bad (reason they installed push buttons) I want to go back factory so I’ve ordered new pcb’s. I want to get them installed and then hook up power and see what EHC does and thunderheart, go from there. It appears that someone has installed the new recommended harnesses from the upper to under the tank going by what I’ve read. I will pull the tank after I see what it does and what the lights tell me. I think I’m on the right track lol

You probably know but be sure there’s a fuse between EHC and battery
