How much you want for that relic? It’s basically worthless except possibly for someone who has one & could use the extra basket & belt (which looks very old for new).
Yep that’s great information. Unfortunately it’s as worthless as the primary itself. NO replacement parts are available any longer or BELTS for that matter either. As stated earlier you might get lucky and find someone who will buy it for the basket & belt. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum from the PNW! As it turns out, I have a Karata open primary on my 06' K9. I am not sure what model Karata I have on the bike off the top of my head. When I get home I will take a look and provide some information. I think my belt is a 3", but I'm not 100% on this.

So, I took a look at my Karata and I can’t see any part/serial #s. I think I would have to remove the primary to tell. My belt is 3”, so unfortunately this one wont work on my K9. If anything some measurements would have to be made on the Karata for sale to see what it would fit if there are no part/serial #s available. Center from pulley to pulley on mine is approximately 12”(red line).
Like I said i don't know just to god awful much about bikes but I ran across this in my u cles old shed when he passed and I have no use for it so I figured I'd try n sell it on here. I had a guy look at it as well and he told me I should be able to get maybe $300-400 for it so if interested we can start at 4 n negotiate from there. I just have no use for it so I figured I'd find someone who does or could
Not many options for your bike I hate to say. There is a member on here selling one. I think he was asking about $5g or something. It’s a Baker and they are not supporting them any longer either. No replacement parts if something should fail.

I’m thinking Rottweiler has one of these primaries. He might be able to use something from those pieces. If you don’t get no takers I’ll give you a couple hundred bucks for it. I think the motor mounting plate would be a nice collector item.
Yeah it might be the same size belt as my setup.

You've had your primary off enough, look at the bolt pattern
What does that tell folks....
Now with that said, I can only tell what it will absolutely NOT fit. With knowing the offset, there's no telling what it fits.

You’re specifically referring to the mounting plate I would assume. And yes the offset is unknown so no telling what it will fit. The other parts would most likely be interchangeable with another 4” Karata primary though correct? Basket/belt, ectEasy enough to identify, right?
