I tried to read through this , like speed read it. As several of us have been busted up over the years , as much as you want to walking when they take that pelvis brace off, it will start with little tiny movements that will possibly hurt like hell until everything gets back in place where everything has been non-moving for such a long time. You have come a long way ----> ,, you don't want to go backwards <----,. Ease into for the first little bit until you figure out where your new limitations are , the "Pain" will guide you. You don't want to fall down, let's say and screw up! Push it but don't "OVERPUSH IT". If I could get my neck and shoulders to quit hurting, throbbing, almost constantly, the people that make Ibuprofen would maybe be laying off people. They ease the pain! You will learn to live with the aches and pains.

Example my stupid self years ago: Three weeks after having my appendix removed that almost busted in my gut, I was in a tree bow hunting, maybe just to prove something to myself. Several years ago I broke both wrists at the same time in a fall backwards. My right arm hurt like hell, the left was just majorly really sore. My neighbor had a tree to fall in his yard and I called my son in law to come and cut it up with my big chainsaw. My son in law was not let's say moving fast enough so I took the chainsaw away from him and started cutting it myself, that was until my wife, God Bless her :), came out and started chewing on everything on me everything that was not in a cast. :) I told someone at work just the other day I was having to daily ask Jesus Christ to please help me with my patience and my lack of it at, most of the time. They laughed,, He told me let me know how that turns out,, Ha ha . I told him in an instant, " Well I can tell you one thing right now. It certainly was working very well with me trying to improve it on my own, I failed miserably. Maybe as bad it as it is , this all will help you with that little word a "Patience" and the pain will remind you when you are exceeding your limitations. As you already know ,, this crap hurts , and it hurts a lot,, like starting all over from the start. Take it easy on your self and let this heal up good the first time,, in time you will be glad you did..
Oh,, as for my asking Jesus for help with my patience,, it is improving slowly day by day, enough I keep asking on a daily basis. You are in our prayers as well. One step at a time, just one movement at a time !

Hey guys not today. It's tomorrow Surgeon is only in clinical today. I did the X-ray's everything looks as good as possible but I'm a little tired of getting limited info. Would have been nice for him to tell me last time I saw him that I wouldn't get it out until Tues! Getting sick of the medical industry and their way of handling shit isn't always open.

He also told me today never mentioned it back on the 15th I had a fracture in my left hip joint ball and socket. Well it's healed but he still doesn't want me walking for 12 weeks! I said FMLA expires at 12 weeks I could be fired from work and without insurance. He said he doesn't follow FMLA. What I didn't say to him was oh okay so it's fine for you to keep you job but not me? Asswipe.

Told my physician this and they said bones heal in 6-8 weeks that means he is just going the max. All liability medical bullshit, haven't been on pain killers since I left ICU back on 12/23/17!

Federal Medical Leave Act. It allows people to have 12 weeks off due to medical family issues, including pregnancy. Forces employers to keep your job open but doesn't require pay.

Oh right.... but can you loose your job if you go over 12 weeks sick/leave??? That´s NOT on... this doesn't happen in Europe!!! Also, we get paid, not the full amount but 80% only while on extended sick leave.

No after 12 weeks you can be terminated If the employer decides to. And employer doesn't have to pay you anything or it can be a % if it's their policy , so that differs by company and there is no regulation for how much.

Yea we don't pussy foot around in the USA. Oh I lied the doctors do! Haha

Bummer dude. Still praying for you. Let us know something soon.
Have you talked to your boss, to see how things are going on his end? Open communication between you guys might be something to think about.

Like you don't have enough to worry about, now you have to hope you boss will hold your job, that blows. That's where I'm glad I have a government/municipal job, never gonna be rich but always have work and ability to build up a lot of sick time just in case. Sorry to hear you now have more on your plate.

Well did you get your erector set removed
I did today, yes everything is healed but still not approved for 12 weeks for weight bearing so still limited. Working on stretching and mobility now cause I got a lot of tight muscles. Hell I couldn't touch my toes because the metal wouldn't let me bend that far before it started poking me.

That’s fantastic Eric! What about leg curls? You lost a lot of weight, are you gaining any of that back yet?
