I tried to read through this , like speed read it. As several of us have been busted up over the years , as much as you want to walking when they take that pelvis brace off, it will start with little tiny movements that will possibly hurt like hell until everything gets back in place where everything has been non-moving for such a long time. You have come a long way ----> ,, you don't want to go backwards <----,. Ease into for the first little bit until you figure out where your new limitations are , the "Pain" will guide you. You don't want to fall down, let's say and screw up! Push it but don't "OVERPUSH IT". If I could get my neck and shoulders to quit hurting, throbbing, almost constantly, the people that make Ibuprofen would maybe be laying off people. They ease the pain! You will learn to live with the aches and pains.
Example my stupid self years ago: Three weeks after having my appendix removed that almost busted in my gut, I was in a tree bow hunting, maybe just to prove something to myself. Several years ago I broke both wrists at the same time in a fall backwards. My right arm hurt like hell, the left was just majorly really sore. My neighbor had a tree to fall in his yard and I called my son in law to come and cut it up with my big chainsaw. My son in law was not let's say moving fast enough so I took the chainsaw away from him and started cutting it myself, that was until my wife, God Bless her , came out and started chewing on everything on me everything that was not in a cast. I told someone at work just the other day I was having to daily ask Jesus Christ to please help me with my patience and my lack of it at, most of the time. They laughed,, He told me let me know how that turns out,, Ha ha . I told him in an instant, " Well I can tell you one thing right now. It certainly was working very well with me trying to improve it on my own, I failed miserably. Maybe as bad it as it is , this all will help you with that little word a "Patience" and the pain will remind you when you are exceeding your limitations. As you already know ,, this crap hurts , and it hurts a lot,, like starting all over from the start. Take it easy on your self and let this heal up good the first time,, in time you will be glad you did..
Oh,, as for my asking Jesus for help with my patience,, it is improving slowly day by day, enough I keep asking on a daily basis. You are in our prayers as well. One step at a time, just one movement at a time !
