I just did the map thing and noticed the East Coast sure has allot more Dog's than the West coast... As im sitting here trying to stay warm, that didnt make any damn sense to me???
West coast is warmer=more riding time
Shouldn't it be the other way=more Dog's on the West coast

Someone explain this too me please????
Or is my map broken!!!!

I just figured it out...

Because they are out riding.... Better weather... No time to be indoors typing
And we are at home typing!!!!! Because its cold and we have all the time to add our little pins on the map!!!!

Well it is true for some unknown reason, but do not be fooled, many of those places out west are no better for the weather than back here. Some are too damn hot during the day to be followed by freezing at night, others always seem to be raining, others have ever worse cager with road rage on the road. Some beautiful country out there for sure and I am wanting to get out and see and enjoy some of it soon since it has been years, but each area has it's good and bad!

you are right Fiber...wasn't trying to slam the east coast...to each his own. For me...NOTHING beats the weather that we get in southern AZ...especially where i live (Phoenix is another story....sorry TC and Sailor). We get in the high 90's and low 100's in the summer...but without all that damn humidity...have virtually no cagers of significance and some of the best sceneary around. We do get monsoon season where it sort of puts a damper on the riding, but i guess you can't have everything.

Go west young man......go west.

 Well add one more to Northern Arizona ... the weather was 72 yesterday but I had honey-dos and had to finish it especially since I just ordered about $200of stuff to put on the bike ..Dyna Beads, carb stuff, etc ... I can hear a lot of bikes on the road ... which I was doing the same ...

Being a beantown boy originally and moving to the midwest only a few years ago, I learned that a local HD dealer in Manchester, NH often sold more bikes than anywhere else in the country. This surprised me as I often thought the same, why aren't there more bikes being sold in the warm sunny areas like AZ, TX and CA? But then again, I have pictures of us riding when some would say it was too cold out (-10). Guess ya just gotta love to ride!

I would love to live where I can ride year round, but then on the flip side living in Upstate NY I love the change of seasons. I also think living where I do gives me a better appreciation to riding and making the most of the time I have.
