Aftermarket Custom Mirros for $60

So I really did want a set of aftermarket mirros for my chopper. But I seriously had a issue with paying $150+ per mirror. I mean COME ON!! :down:

So somebody suggested this guy on ebay, ChopperStuff He sells a few different kinds of mirrors. I went for the Flame Stems and Diamond Mirror combo

I got them in along with some spacers and some 5/16" x 2 1/4" chrome bolts and WHOLA!

From plain and flat

To the new and cheaper HOTNESS

OK... so now they have been on for a few months and I have about 750 miles on them. They work well and I really like them. They look HOWT! Definately worth the 60 spot.

Yeah but I have heard the same thing about many of the more expensive mirrors too. And at this price I could buy like 4 sets for the price of the more expensive brands.

Gas did you just buy the mirrors that fit the HD or the metric?

They are univeral I believe... but if I recall for a HD. You still need the adapter kit anyway.

I have the wicked image version of those mirrors with the newer tribal two arms and while they look cool on the bike they arent worth a shit while riding at anything over around town speeds. All I can usually make out without turning my head are triple images of whatever is behind me.

Vibrations in the mirrors are a bitch at any time but with these small mirrors and tight arms its just amplifies everything. They work fine for getting on the highway just not when you get on it to beat the traffic.

I was thinking about going that route with Wicked Image. Are they a quality product?

I've heard good things about Wicked Image... but here's my math.

Wicked image just like the ones linked $134 x 2 = $268

These are $60

268 / 60 = ~ 4.5 times

If these only last 1 year a pop. You could get the same thing..brand new for 5 years. Will the wicked image last that long and still look good?

Plus every year you could change the look.
