I purchased this gas cap some time ago and love the style. I have been searching high and low for matching fork nut covers (once made by Chopper inc.), but have continued to come up empty handed.
A short time ago, I saw this chrome six gun cylinder on ebay cheap. It was on a Harley part, but it was easy enough to take off and fit to the BDM ignition cover. The only bad thing was that the bullet cases were silver colored, not brass like my gas cap.
So, I mixed up a little House of Kolor Zenith Gold in some clear and airbrushed the casings. It only took a few minutes and they now blend perfectly.
If anyone knows where I can get some of the fork tube covers it would be greatly appreciated. Several catalogues (Like J&P, custom chrome) list them, but they don't have them in stock and say they are discontinued.
