K-9 Struts

Any advice/tips on removal/replacement of Struts on a K-9

I'm getting ready to swap mine out and wanted to knowe of anything to watch for.

Use blue tape to protect your paint and to aline new struts, becareful not to damage wire pins when removing lights, use lock tite on everything, be careful not to pinch wireing beteen struts and fender, take your time place a clean bath towel on top of your work bench. Good luck

Just did mine about 5 days ago. The real bitch is removing the each wire from the terminal block for removal of the turn signals. If you have a sears hardware store near you, get a very small phillips screw driver, I mean get the smallest one they have (about 1/32" dia) to use as a pusher to push out the wires from the blocks. These small connectors are very fragile and are very hard to push out. I had to use a rag to hold the block while pushing the wires through the block. If you break one as I did, tear into an old computer, there you should find something similar to what you need for replacement.
