whats up guys ,keep breaking clutch cables any idea why who else having this problem cant remeber length is it 64 inch on a 2006 mastiff

Clutch lever end or actuator end? Isn't that cable end inside the trans? So that is lubed and down in the hoop of the cable, yes?

What happens if I take my cable off my lever, lay it on the floor until oil comes out and I'm lubed up and down the cable. Let me ask you something? You don't take a lot of showers with your BD and rust the cabl... Never mind.

If I looked at that cable on the ground, we have any kinks in that lacing thru the frame and up to the lever? I should be able to install and remove a flat cable that will lay on the ground all straight, right? You have the curve is so arched that it drags the inner cable all the way thru this drag or just a slight curve?

You are not coming across with too much info so are we with car springs in the clutch basket? How about stock parts, we running stock springs? How about that wave looking pressure plate? You have one of those, that if we went looking at the plate, we could have soup in it?

Lube?
Kinks?
Springs?

thanks guys,do lube them use barnett cables,do love my dog but dont shower with it lol.all stock srings and clutch.anyone know part number and lenght think it was 64 but not sure

Call Barnett. Say what length you want, mail them the old one with both ends, remember. Say you want an inch or half an inch added or removed... No problem. I think they offer that service?
The more that cable makes a C curve, the less drag on the inner cable.

I see how you can lube the bottom ramp assembly end with grease but other than spraying wd-40 or liquid silicone down from the lever, how are you lubing the cable?
