But i thought i would put in a recommendation and this seemed like the closest fit. just got back some struts that were purchased from a member here that needed to be re-plated due to some peeling. sent the struts to Brown's Plating in Paducah, Ky. about 2 weeks ago and got them back yesterday via UPS. opened the very substantial box that was totally full of packing peanuts and found the struts again wrapped in protective paper wrap. excellent service, excellent packaging, excellent quality. next job goes back to Ronnie Brown, owner of the "#1 motorcycle related only" plater in the country (that's right, nothing but motorcycle parts). thanks again for the quick service, Ronnie.

if you need any plating done, this business has my recommendation, for what it is worth. :2thumbs::2thumbs:

Thanks for the reccomendation! I think I've heard of them, and now it's nice to know they do quality work and service. I will most certainly keep them in mind....and if I use them, I'll mention your name. Maybe he'll give you a discount for the reccomendation.

pretty much, their pricing is what their pricing is (believe me, i begged). it's the quality that puts them head and shoulders above the rest.

just for your reference, (2) K9 struts and shipping both ways was @ $275.00 (this included striping off the old chrome)
