A shop around me does powder coating. They do jugs and heads and I have never heard of it melting. Powder coating should stay on for the life of the back if done properly.Just wonder what else is available, powder coat? I would think it would melt???
I had to pull my push rod tubes again so while i was doing that I pulled the carb, pipes and coil then masked it all off.looks good BB. You take it all apart or just masked everything off?
I'll plan on that when the time comes to freshin up the motor!!! Thanks for the input guys.Powder coat works with no problem.I did a bike back in 98 and it still looks great....
Well we were told in shop that black pulls the heat out of the motor (better heat transfer), all my 2 strokes were flat black.I like the idea due to no polishing. Will the paint hold extra heat in the engine?
