Factory Paint or Not??

I recently had Scott to make me a new seat, which I love, and afterwards I posted pics of the seat on my chopper in the appropriate section. During conversation, someone asked if my paint was factory or not, I had to tell him I wasn't sure.

I was told it wasn't, and that the guy who painted mine left his signature, a "V", on the gas tank where the tank and the seat meet. The paint scheme is a deep blue, with silver "iridescent" flames, and then the flames are pinstriped in a lighter blue. The Chopper came from Baton Rouge.

I know there are guys on here that have worked at the factory, and others who just know a hell of a lot more than me. If anyone can tell me anything, I would really appreciate it.

I thought I had a pic in my gallery that showed the signature, but you can't see it. I will take a pic of the signature when I get home this afternoon.

I would really like to find out for sure if it is factory or not and if at all possible find out who painted it if it is not factory.

Again, let me know if you know anything.

Joe Vincent of Vincent Designs was the airbrush artist for Deep South Choppers in Baton Rouge for quite a while. I think you can find him on facebook. His address/number listed is:
Vincent Designs
10334 S Choctaw Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70815
225-273-0342
I think he can be found on facebook in regards to his business. Could be the one! Could just be coincidence. Find him and send him a pic of your bike. I'm sure if he did the work, he'll remember it. He was the artist that turned my dog into a snake.
