Some people on this site have a good knowledge of the Vintage bikes. Are you certain you need a control module? Wait for someone here to help you troubleshoot and isolate your problem before buying a new module. Cam sensors are more likely to fail rather than the ignition module itself.i am looking for a ignition control module for a 1996 vintage classic. The bike however was built by Vick Edelbrok's race team! I do not no if the module is still stock,or not. If the bike is built, can you run the factory module,or do you need more volts ?
Personally on that era bike and ignition and sensor in one, I would go with the Daytonna TwinTech unit -- serverd me very well on my pre-BDM bike.Mick is correct with his questions. Answer those and maybe we can help you... but with that said most likely you have a Dyna 2000 or a Ultima ignition module...these module are the cam sensor and ignition module in one
That’s probably what it has on it…. I don’t think he answered. But any of those mentioned will work.Personally on that era bike and ignition and sensor in one, I would go with the Daytonna TwinTech unit -- serverd me very well on my pre-BDM bike.
