Check your compression releases if they are not working properly or weak is really the only way your gonna bust starters even with higher compression hence the meaning of compression release Donna and Derek have new ones they are your best bet , better go new than rebuilt the motor shouldn't ever hesitate or stop turning over abruptly if CR s are working and strong
And if you are going to change your CR's let me know and I will send you the special tool to borrow..

Unlikely can't get out of line.

Other than CR also make sure your starter gear and ring gear in the primary don't have chips taken out! I've seen them crack and chip and then the starter doesn't release cleanly. That will break the shaft, it's made from hardened steel so once it cracks even a little it breaks completely.

Your more patient than me I'd be demanding the tins back finished yesterday and final payment after thorough inspection then drag the payment out 6 months 2 can play that game:)

Unless you really know the vendor, this is why you do a simple contract agreement with everything spelled out as plain as you can make it. Also after the supposed delivery date you need to assess LD'S

Patience is the name of the game. No point in getting panties in a bunch over spilt milk. There's a lot more important things in life thats for sure! I'm sure Sue can't argue with that statement
