My buds Bourget had Nitrous bottles mounted in the indentions on both sides of the tank. Seen many Bourgets with them mounted from the factory. . . On another note. I was really interested in the Ridgeback til Bryan sent me the large files pics. Not sure if the pegs can be worn out in roughly 4K miles as those are. Maybe if you wore golf spikes and stood on them while riding. I've had bikes with over 20k miles on them and no damage to the footpegs like that.

It seems like we are quick to point out flaws and nit pick a bit on bikes that are for sale. Everyone of these bikes has taken some work to get or keep them in the shape they are in. The great folks on this forum know what it takes to maintain one of these Beasts. If that bike looks good to you (the price isn't bad) you should go for it if it tickles your fancy. We will all be here to help if you need it.

Shit, I would pay $8k for an 08 Ridgeback in a heartbeat if I had it. I think it's a killer deal
Ask a forum member go look at it if it is out of your area, take what they say and decide if it is what you really want.
I think for 8k it is a good deal and I have wanted one for some time. I say do some homework and make an offer before the end of the month, they will prolly accept a deal to get it out of inventory before 2019 comes.

Agreed I was talking My salesman buddy at the dealership yesterday. Things are slow. I’m almost certain that someone can get a smoking deal on this bike Between now and DEC 31. I like to buy it but I’m out for surgery right now

Rommel Harley bought out Mike's Famous a few years back and as anyone on the east coast knows Mike's was famous for having stock but charging what was considered by most to be too much for the bike.
Last time I was in Rommel before I left the area they had an 08 thunder mountain used that when I saw the price I almost broke out laughing that they had the balls to ask that much for it. Don't remember the details but I could have done FAR FAR FAR better with nicer bikes IMHO. The chopper had a STEERING DAMPNER on it -- who the hell does that! Looked moronic.

I started the bike and I ran it for a minute. The bike ran fine. The one thing I noticed was the the speedo didn’t Sweep and I couldn’t read the odometer but the tach did work and It looks like it had the original EHC. I think with a little tlc it would make someone a nice bike .being 8 hours away is a day trip. Id have a hard time buying anything used I haven’t put my eyes on .

You gotta be young if you think Mama will be happy on a rigid -- I don't know many women past 40 that are willing to ride like that. Even the last one I knew, her old man finally gave up the rigid chopper that he had for YEARS.
