First time owner of a big dog! Bike has been sitting for some time, just installed new battery. It turns over but will not start. Can someone please point me into the right direction??

Even with a couple twists of the throttle it should start right up, but you may need to check your sensors to ensure they register fuel is getting through. Diagram on the site.

First time owner of a big dog! Bike has been sitting for some time, just installed new battery. It turns over but will not start. Can someone please point me into the right direction??

Have you checked for spark and flug in cylinder.
Are you certain that the run/off switch has been pressed to run (after you do a key on)
When you turn the bike on do you hear the fuel pump pressurize?
When you press start you should hear or you can feel if the compression releases are working. (center of heads)
