Seems you have your mind made up.
If you figure a new Dog loses like 50% out of door, that is depending the price 18-20.000.
I think the best investment would be to find a low mileage dog for 10k or so which come around very often now a days and take a few grand and make it how you want. Not exactly but things are shaping up to be what they are.
I'm still waiting for someone to suggest another (safer), way to make work what I layed out...
Paypal works for you?
Go to Rumbleon.com and follow directions and see what they offer you. You can always decline.Ok but what am I going to do with my trade?
Well, it has an "upgraded" paint scheme on it. Not my taste per se so I wouldn't be interested in that unless it was truly the deal of a lifetime. What about the other BD K9 they have, do you think it's nicer (it sure cost more)?

That patina finish was really popular in the last few yrs but with any "fad" it's dying off. What are they going for a rusty beat up airplane look?
I don't think I have ever said this about any Big Dog I have seen, but that paint is FUGLY!!!!!What about the other BD K9 they have, do you think it's nicer (it sure cost more)?

Sounds goodOn the subject at hand, I'm thinking of telling BD I will do it... just as long as they put something 'in writing' to the effect that 'if' something does happen and the bike doesn't get made for whatever the reason, they (BD), will guarantee me the amount the dealer said I would receive, BD will back that up with a guarantee to pay me back in full.
So what do yous think?
Any ideas?
If you are this concerned theres 2 options I see:
Not sure if this is a legitimate request or messing with us.... If it is, go to Template.com and you can download a simple purchase agreement for in the "word" format so you can modify; i.e., delete, add information and customize it to your situation....Anybody know any specifics I should add for the write up that would make it legal?
