Need some ideas how to hide the marks in the paint after the bracket is removed. I was thinking about making a little plate out of polished aluminum or stainless to cover the marks but it just doesn't look right. Has anybody done this and how did you cover up the marks?

I get plugs like these at my local ace and paint them to match. They practically disappear.

I wish I’d taken a picture but I actually put pegs back on.

I’m sure it bugs you but that doesn’t look that bad at all.

Plug the holes and I think it will look fine.

Anyone I’ve seen try d make a cover just makes it look worse IMO. They draw you eyes to them.
I am going to try plugging holes and see what it looks like.

Where I removed the exhaust bracket looks like shit, but I'll work on buffing that out.

My picture probably doesn't show it but but mine is really indented into the Finish but I'll probably try buffing to see if it hides it somewhat.
