Would like to remove my passenger foot pegs.

Need some ideas how to hide the marks in the paint after the bracket is removed. I was thinking about making a little plate out of polished aluminum or stainless to cover the marks but it just doesn't look right. Has anybody done this and how did you cover up the marks?

Since your removing the pegs, why mot make a bracket and use the location to hold some old style softail toolboxes!

I just buffed and polished until the marks were mostly gone, I don't have a closeup but where the pegs used to be looks decent.

Understood. maybe a little wet sand/buff/polish, or Im not afraid to even repaint the area.

I probably have them, not going to hide that mess. Think I will try it though.

Had the same on mine, it's not a depression it's extra coating almost like epoxy. I used a straight razor and very carefully removed it then buffed.

Where I removed the exhaust bracket looks like shit, but I'll work on buffing that out.

Maybe some clear coat hand applied to level it out and then buff it out?
