I have a 2003 Mastiff with the wire plus kit. I burnt out the turn and brake module and am curious if I can wire a new module in or would be better to go back with the same thing. Im certain this is an amateur question but am hoping for input on the most inexpensive but best reliability module to replace?? Thanks in advance

Cheapest would be a new WP brain, about $250 I think. Interesting might be a M-box v-2, a German unit for about $350. Dentdude will chime in soon and tell how you will see the light with Alex's EHC for about $500. He is a firm believer it will also fix your hemorrhoids.
Bill will tell you to hardwire the bike old skool...
All but new WP unit will require some work on wires since your harness has been modified for WP.

Can't really go back to Axle units unless you buy a harness since his is all cut up. Add $300 to axle EHC and it now becomes very expensive. With a 1980's DOT matrix printer cable.

    Look familiar?

Agree, that is why I said new WP brain or Motogadget first.... or cheaper Thunderheart unit would work as well. What I like about m-unit is no stupid connectors.

All I need is the module for turning lights. I can get it thru wire plus for $145 shipped. If i go any other way i think will be more trouble than its worth just from tracking the color coated wires to properly rewire. I was hoping someone would know of a turn module that might be better but again cutting n tracking tosave a few bucks wont be worth just plug n play for $145

Are you sure it's the turn signal that went bad? Never heard of that one going bad because there really isn't much power too it.

My power module went bad, I actually have the turn signal module I can send you. I am nearly certain it works but you can test it and If it works send me what you think is fair for it.

Yes i am certain its the module. My ground on the battery came off and shorted it out. I can smell it burnt. If u could do that I would be so grateful.

I must say it is a very very rare occasion that someone would just nd that without needing the whole set up. I got really lucky to have not fried the whole unit.

It's got more wires coming out then you got there. Mine has two plugs it's also setup for momentary switching not latching. Since I have push buttons on my 04 controls and you have the Harley style rocker switches. I'd say these are not compatible.
