Upon receiving the Mastiff I also received a bag of odds and ends. These two items Im not sure where they belong on the bike. The other stuff is pretty much screws, bolts, washers. But these two pieces I have no clue.

The revolving twin lug that holds the 2 tank securing rubbers have this metal bit drawn on each side followed by the rubber. - see the tank securing to frame part of the handbook. My bike is an 05 Bulldog and has this.... so am assuming yours is same????

I was having a really hard time keeping my wife's Mastiff's tank from coming loose over a period of time. I ended up piggy backing two more and was able to cure the problem.
