Well, hopefully your navigation skills aren't as bad as your typing... just messin with ya, welcome to the forum.
Ya know my back has bad popping on deceleration and switching gears. I got it with the v&h big radius pipes and never really thought much of it. I think imma look into their website and see what size jets are recommended for this carb and pipes set up. But yeah this is old news and bike still looks great!
Yeah, I can tune a carb in all day on an old school hot rod, but never had much luck with bikes, gunna have to do some research and make sure it's right. I went to the S&S site when I wanted to adjust my pushrods to get rid of that stupid ticking.. did everything just as said per their site and didn't work in my favor, took it to a shop to have them do it and it was great for a few weeks and then started again.. idk why I can rebuild, bore an engine and whatever else when it comes to a car, but as far as bikes go, I'm only good on the electrical aspect of it.. I'm kinda trying to practice but I often get stuck with the if it ain't broke, don't fix it motto in my head. Lol.. and the two other bikes being fuel injected Hondas, well that says it all, change oil, filters and tires and ur good to go. Lol
I've tore it down and cleaned and replaces gaskets and all that before, doing it I'm not scared of, it's the tuning it in that's got me wondering..
You can buy a set of jets from JP Cycle and use this to set up the carb. My V&H 2-2 in came with 31 and 76
I'm gunna contact them and see what they suggest for the big radius with the super g carb, thatllh help get her tuned in for sure. Thanks brotha
