Does anyone have a spike air cleaner for sale? Looking for one. Need some help gang!!! maybe someone has a line on a new one! Maybe a group buy product? Any thoughts, just tossed at me. I have looked on Flee Bay but not sure what I'm looking at. One is for $398.00 and there are 50 different ones for $99.00. I'm sure those are chrome plastic. On the stock S&S air cleaner you have the pull enricher which is attached to the air cleaner back plate. Does the cone come with this or how do you enrich? I'm sure I can figure something out. I just have never looked at one up close.

Jon, had one for sale about two months ago and it went cheap. Damn. Best of luck with your purchase, just make sure your leg is not going to be hitting that cone when you install it...that's why I got rid of mine - added the 5'' extensions and that spike was cracking me right in the shin no matter which direction I pointed it (up or forward). Just a friendly heads up.

I have the dual runner from S&S and it came with a fancy knob to put on the enricher.

The 99.00 fleabay ones are aluminum. I had a black one on my AIH that I liked. I had to do some drilling to make it vertical, but that's my fault for not reading the description thoroughly. I can't speak on the quality of the chrome ones though.

I just did away with my enrichner lever from the stock air cleaner. The button was still on the carb, but I never needed to use it (kept bike in warm garage). I did have to buy another 12mm breather for my vent tube which normally was ported into the stock air cleaner.

You could probably drill a port for that into the spike if you wanted though.

Still looking. Spike air cleaner or a duel runner. Or does anyone have something else. I would rather buy a air breather from one of ya'll that ya'll put on the shelf for an upgrade than one from flea bay.

I´ve got the "bullet", same thing but no so pointy (not so dangerous...) very happy with it in the vertical position with 3" extensions on the feet.... no problems there.

But..... I am now looking for the "Boss" if I can get the Boss I am more than happy to give you my single one for FREE (I still owe you Bro )

I had the D&M spike. Its a HP killer. I had motor work done and than I had it dyno'd. It was hard to tune, then I just pulled the damn thing and I got 5 more HP as soon as i took it off. It was funny to watch on the dyno. I cut the spike off at the elbow, slid on a 6" K&N filter, and now it works great and no HP loss. The spikes look good, performe like crap. IMO. Good luck.

That's weird I put the single spike on my 06 pitbull pointing forward not up removed the bowl vent and it ran flawlessly and recently on my 07 K9 I installed a wimmer spike dual runner and again runs flawlessly after jetting and tuning the carb. Maybe the motor mods had some influence over the spike not performing properly
