I'm very impressed and happy with mine although I've only used it for a couple of months (cranking power is incredible) and it's now in the house on a battery minder for the winter.
I know a few others have since purchased one please post thoughts and experiences with it here.

Not that this would keep from buying but I was just looking at these the other day and what I couldn't figure is why the ThrottleX website doesn't even list this battery. Just had me rather confused and I couldn't find anything with 500cca on their website either. Strange. I might email them.....

I did notice they have some made in the USA batteries too but the most CCA I could find was 310.

Eric I had the same questions and they got right back to me within an hour. Hope your feeling better each day.

    Hello Dave,

Our MX20L is sold exclusively on Amazon, it is not available through our retail site.
Yes, it specs out at 500 CCA.
    Thanks for the inquiry.

Looks like we must do the same research!

Thank you still a little strange why they would do that especially for people like you and me.

It would be interesting if someone could test it and it actually puts out 500cca. Just seems like a lot and it's way above and beyond other manufactures which is suspect.

Reminds me of this article about Braille being made at the same factory East Penn etx20l are they test nearly the same for half the price. Braille doesn't hit the 400+ cca they claim according to this guy. Test was in line with the east Penn battery but twice the price. However like I said, this one is priced right!

    https://www.impactbattery.com/blog/...y-claims-one-of-the-highest-cca-ratings-ever/

If you look at east Penn batteries they make the Deka and damn it if doesn't look exactly like a $200 braille.

I did test it right outta the box 3 times to 500 CA and it spun the 117 over like no other and then I put it on a tender to put a full charge to it after testing it and putting it in the bike.
Braille's have been testing up there for years, but like everything else, you can get a dead one as some members have seen with the Braille.

MX20L is not made by Penn.. it is made “overseas” if that matters any. I suppose not.

From China with love it is I'm sure!

Seems like lots of guys are having good luck and if you get 1 year out of $100 battery I wouldn't really argue 2 years would be wonderful

We all know we can get a bad battery. That being said if my Braille makes it thru this winter and wakes the dog up this spring and makes it to August it will be 7 years old with no problems. When it does die I will try the MX20L unless I hear bad reports from you guy's with them.

I accept that I may have got one of the lemon batteries, I'm sure Braille can produce a good product...unlike chevy...:oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh: :sorry::disappointed:
