    I've had an S&S IST in my 05 Chopper DT for years. When I built the motor for power the stock BDM ignition would drop timing off when we were trying to tune it on the dyno. Back then I called BDM and they said their ignitions have fail safes built in to satisfy the EPA so I yanked out the BDM setup and put in the IST. No issues what so ever!
