That has to be hottest air induction on the planet,I had to have one too.It really does outperform other intake systems. Check out dyno runs at Bikers Dream Atlanta.

Thanks , when I first seen them I liked it
hated the cost but it is nice
Bikers dream had a fair price
The one thing that makes the Dual Runner great is it gets away from the 3 screws for the stock air cleaner can loosen up and make their way into the carb
That alone was worth the cost of the unit
Do not like the posibility of a part that can make its way into engine

Good Job! Look Good Too! :2thumbs:

I have the feeling that the dual runner provides much higher air flow than the D&M dual spikes like I have. Maybe that's what's next for me! :2thumbs:

Obviously the dual runner projects forward more than the stock cover but how much leg room does it take away compared to the stock cover. Do the air cleaners come with the kit or do they get purchased seperately?

The leg issuse was a consern
I can't ride it but sitting on it I do feal the leg bumping it a little
The old cleaner was 5" out from head at the center so is the new one
The difference is the new one starts a end left side of carb sharper than the old one which tapers back tward the rear of bike( more blended to the calf of the leg)
But I do believe it's not a problem just different

I did use loctite on the old air cleaner and primer because carb is non ferrous( had to take a loctite seminar at my last place of imployment)
Still don't like screws in middle of a runnway to engine
Put everything bothers me anyways thats me

Thanks compliments guys

I've had one on my bike for a while now - never noticed it getting in the way of my leg - it's never even crossed my mind

My problem is the right knee was totaly repaced a few years ago
It does act and feel different
I glad it doesn't get in the way
Other thing I sat on it in the garage not riding it, big difference
