I used Mothers Carnuba wax, and yes my license plate holder is the original, I don't like it though, I frigg'n run into the damn thing all the time working on the bike, sometimes I'll have one of my drawers open and I'll back into the little fuk'r! I am waiting to break it off so I can justify buying a folding one!

Just checked my jets, 31/76 here Gil, I believe those will be okay. I’ll rebuild the carb at some point and should be fine.

You know when I looked at it I don't see how it will work? Are you sure "all" of them can be flipped?

It's possible, being that it's an 09, that it is a one piece bracket. If not, you will have to drill and counter sink the new holes. They are premarked on the plate. If it the one piece bracket, you can get a folding one from the Kaptin.

If I remember correctly, if I flip it I think one of the original holes will be exposed, is that supposed to be like that?

My 08 was premarked. Quick work with a countersink bit and vertical it went. I like the look and it’s out of the way.

Yea, my 05 was like that and I loved it, can you see any of the original holes after you flipped it?

Yes, from the back side of the plate mount but I’ve never thought about it until now.

Ok, I ran to the shop and took some pictures.
This is the back side of my plate, that's been flipped.
    IMG_20171029_165117_resized_20171029_045820804.jpg And the plate side.
    IMG_20171029_165350_resized_20171029_050511421.jpg
The back side of one that hasn't been flipped.
IMG_20171029_165601_resized_20171029_045854353.jpg And the plate side. I'm pointing at two of the marks where they need to be drilled.
