Thanks. That let’s me know how you were able to move your gauge forward.

Not a great picture but you can see it mounted on the front of the rear head. It just worked out better for me in that position. Those guages do get warm.

Yes they do! My air ride suspension gauge gets down right hot while parked. Once you start moving again the air flow cools it off pretty quick though.

Did you attach that to the oil tappet screen area?

Yes, I can see it much easier at that location.

And it's a little farther away from the exhaust. Well at least it looks that way in the pic.

Thanks for the pic JR. Thought I missed it on your k9 in October but I see it’s the choppa. Nice looking scoot by the way.

Went ahead and just mounted the gauge on the oil tappet screen, it was the easiest way to go, there was no way mounting it on the rocker box would work, hit my thigh since I have 2.5" forward controls and I am only 5'-9" l am fairly well stretched out! Thank again to HA Y N for giving me the gauge! :old2: IMG_20171209_122122802.jpg IMG_20171209_122131118.jpg IMG_20171209_125959337.jpg

Looks good John. I took the plunge so if it does not work out for me, may have a post in the swap meet section

Is anyone having problems with the heat damaging the gauge?

Good question. Maybe I should’ve waited before purchasing while getting some feedback. Oh well, live and learn.

My concern is heat coming off the metal gauge mount if it hits my thigh. May have to move it forward and swap air cleaner.
