05 big dog Ridgeback... Head work, karata open primary, digital speedo
Rip kit installed. Went through by Brew (amazing fellow)... Worked great for a bit 100 miles then riding along n everything shut off... Turned key off n on while rolling n it started up again... 3 min later SAME thing n battery totally depleted. FYI... Had new rotor, stator, regulator from Curtis....
Re barged n tried 3 different batteries... Varying from 12.7v to 13.1v (power off). Key on hit starter made an attempt to crank n then nothing.. Not even a click. Changed starters still same thing.. Nothing. Hooked up to car battery for a jump (vehicle off)... Pushed starter button and nothing. Disconnected green wire from starter n shows 12.4v with key on & Also when starter button pushed (which does nothing).
Thinking possible bad board in handlebars on start switch? Would that cause a short to deplete battery too?
FYI... LIGHTS/SIGNALS /TACH ALL LIGHT UP JUST FINE
So incredibly pissed off right now! Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED

Make a jumper wire and when you disconnect the circuit board you can jump it in the jst connector, if it starts the you know it's bad, that's what I did to check mine.

So the rip kit has only been in for a hundred miles? Or did I read that wrong? Cause if it's newly installed then it probably something to do with it.

When you turn the key on, does the red light on the ignition module flash and stay off?

New parts vr, stator, and rotor along with rip kit I'd start with those items first if the battery is going completely dead that indicates it's not charging properly

    OK update..... I'm running!.!
Pulled the starter switch cover off to replace it with another.... Turns out the connector was only partially connected. Thus everything working except for the pins that weren't connected (aka starter switch). Plugged it in and boom.... We started! Up n running with 13.9-14.1v at battery! So STOKED
    thank you all so much.....
Do you think that this was causing a short which led to Bike shutting Down at higher rpms (connector partially coming loose arcing which told bike to shut off)..... Thoughts?

If it was partially off then maybe the run wire was not connecting all the time also
