    Mind you that a screw on hose clamp is in fact used on the pressure hose between the tank and the throttle body. I have the correct tool for the clamp on the filter if you opt to go with that. I'll just mail it to you if you want.

    Eric, I went by the shop and looked at the cap...just plain black threads. No white parts anywhere, and the vent seems open when I blow in it.
    I doubt the parts will be here for the weekend, although once I get the filter it will only be a couple of hours to be up and running.
    Since we're looking at NY Eve this weekend, I'll be on a short leash--willingly, I might add.... Maybe soon, tho. I would love be to run that thing to Dallas and back.
