    Does anyone out there have a front axle cover . I lost one and I understand the man that made them has passed .my email is jbbackhoe@aol.com

    I looked for quite a wile with no luck until a member contacted me and sold me his magnetic axle covers and fork covers, you could try BBChopper not sure if he makes them or not

    Never had a problem with them shaking loose really a great idea. Somebody probably has the same problem I have. And is stuck with just one.

    Usually the magnets used are called earth magnets, they have a very high Gauss rating. (Magnetic flux density)

    Actually they would be rare earth magnets, much like the ones in hard drives (but larger).
    Samarium-cobalt or more commonly Neodymium.

    Earth at least is rare! I bought 6 of them about quarter size, was toying with a gps pouch for tank... those little fuckers are pain to separate, not to mention trying to get them in two rows inside the pouch
